Wolves boss Mick McCarthy is confident securing midfielder David Jones to a new contract.
Jones, 25, has been linked with Bolton Wanderers, Blackburn Rovers and Premier League newcomers Newcastle United.
But McCarthy believes the midfielder will not want to leave Molineux after helping the club avoid relegation last season.
The Wolves boss said: "I want Dave to stay. He's got a year left of his contract and it's the same situation as where we were in March.
"We're trying to sort something out and hopefully that will get done. I think it will get sorted out fairly quickly.
"We want him to stay and be part of the squad and I haven't heard anything from anyone."
