Wolves boss Lage won't rule out Diego Costa starting against West Ham

Wolves boss Bruno Lage won't rule out Diego Costa starting against West Ham tomorrow.

Costa signed for Wolves earlier this month as a free agent.

Lage said, "It was good to have these weeks for training and one of the things that comes with energy was Diego. All the team when we are training and we can see we have a striker training with the team we can see the good vibes and the good energy. He didn't work the first week with the team but after that he did. We are a different team when we have a striker in front of us.

"Let's see tomorrow. What I can say is he spent a long time without playing, a long time without training. The Premier League is a different level. Sometimes you need to protect him a little bit but in the moments with the team he is training very well."

On Raul Jimenez's injury, he added: "It is better to wait for a report from our medical department then we can understand what time he has in front of him to recover. He is an important player for us. We want competition in the team and different profiles."
