Norwich City boss Paul Lambert hopes to sign Wolves striker Sam Vokes on-loan today.
Lambert wants both Vokes and Liverpool's Dani Pacheco signed before the deadline falls this afternoon.
Lambert told canaries.co.uk: "Vokes and Pacheco are both keen to come here and I'm sure if they join us it will give the whole squad a lift."
Vokes, who has been on loan from Wolves to Sheffield United recently and would bolster a squad which has been weakened by injuries sustained by strikers Chris Martin and Aaron Wilbraham.
