Wolfsburg are hopeful they can sign Liverpool forward Divock Origi on loan.
The 22-year old has fallen down the pecking order at Anfield following the arrival Dominic Solanke from Chelsea, having not made the Reds match-day squad against Arsenal on Sunday.
Liverpool still believe the Belgium international has huge potential and are willing for him to gain more regular first team football to aid his development.
Origi arrived at Anfield from Lille in 2014 for £10m and since scored 21 goals in 77 appearances.
A host of clubs, including Tottenham and Newcastle, have also shown an interest in taking Origi on loan.
