VfL Wolfsburg chief Klaus Allofs isn't surprised Julian Draxler wants to leave.

Draxler has spoken openly about wanting to quit VfL before the summer market shuts. With Arsenal and PSG keen, Allofs admits he respects the player's ambition.

He told BILD: "That a player like him has the drive to want to take even the next step, the reputation and the economy, we have to live with.

"Borussia Dortmund have also had to go through this."

But Allofs also accused the local media of bias against his club.

"I do not hear that all want to leave BVB or that the city of Dortmund is not comparable to Dusseldorf or Munich. With us, the opposite is the case. If they report on us, it's often said negatively."
