Wojciech Szczesny has declared he wants to be Arsenal's outright No1.
The young Pole has impressed since being handed a chance by manager Arsene Wenger.
Szczesny said: "The manager shows faith in me, so I believe I am ready, so any time I get a chance I will try to prove to him I am ready.
"I treat every single game as my chance, I just want to do my best and leave the decisions to the manager.
"We have not conceded a lot of games recently. There was one in the cups, but we have done pretty well in the Premier League recently.
"It has the look of a decent back four and we just want to keep it going with as many clean sheets as possible.
"We have kept three clean sheets on the bounce in the Premier League now, which is pleasing because people have questioned our defending."
