Jack Wilshere has been warned he must wait to discuss new terms at Arsenal.
The Sun says hat's despite interest from Manchester City, who are reportedly preparing a £40m bid for the England star.
The Gunners have no intention of holding talks with Wilshere due to the fact he has three years left on his current £80,000-a-week deal.
Wilshere is regarded as a future captain at the Emirates, but recently spoke of his desire to "feel wanted" following a disappointing personal season in which he suffered another long spell on the sidelines with an ankle injury.
