Will Wood and Armani Little have signed new deals with Southampton.

The academy graduates have signed professional contracts that will keep them at the club until the summer of 2018.

"It feels amazing," Wood told Southampton's official YouTube channel. "It's a big step really to sign a professional deal and I'm looking forward to the three years ahead.

"I've been at the club since I was 11, so I don't know any different really. I trialled at a few places before coming to Southampton, but I thought 'this is the club for me'."

Little added: "I'm just delighted, really proud - it's a proud day for me and my family.

"I've worked really hard for this, so I'm really excited to get started. I've been here for four or five years now, so I'm really at home.

"The club's always trying to develop players into the first team - it's a good place to be at the moment."
