Jurgen Klopp is expected to introduce the Footbonaut to his Liverpool players.
Klopp is said to have worked with it as Borussia Dortmund coach.
The Liverpool Echo reports the Footbonaut is a four-sided ball-feeding machine. Placing a player in a cage of 14 metres squared, is provides non-stop footballs to a player. The balls will fire out of one of 64 panels, and the player must then pass it into one of the other panels which lights up.
It is said it improves reactions, ball control, passing accuracy.
The Footbonaut is only used by one other club in the world - German side Hoffenheim - and would cost up to £2.3million.
