Wilder keen to retain Sheffield Utd mainstays Egan, Lundstram

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder is determined to hold onto his key players this summer.

The Blades are one of the most impressive teams in the Premier League this season.

They have held their own in the first season after promotion, and they are in with a shout of a Champions League or Europa League spot this term.

Two key players in that run are John Egan and John Lundstram.

The Sheffield Star claims that Wilder is very eager to get both of those players signed to long term contracts.

Enda Stevens will also be offered a new deal, and the club will then turn their attention to others in the squad.

The likes of Oliver Norwood and Chris Basham may also be in line for improved terms this summer.
