Wigan Athletic midfielder Michael Brown wasn't surprised to see former club Fulham sack Lawrie Sanchez last week.

Brown was one of the first players to quit the Cottage after Sanchez's arrival and said: "It's a cut-throat business and when you are in the bottom three the manager is always likely to be a casualty. There was a good core of players here when Lawrie Sanchez arrived but he changed the lot.

"He wanted to bring his own people in and every manager has the right to do that. But it's hard to make so many changes at the same time."
