Wigan Athletic defender Titus Bramble praised Arsenal opponent Thomas Vermaelen after Saturday's thumping in London.

The Gunners centre-half struck twice and Bramble said: "He got up well for his first and then placed his second into the top corner as if he did it every day."

Vermaelen is currently Arsenal's leading scorer.
