Wigan Athletic striker Jason Scotland is calm about his lack of goals.
Scotland is waiting to break his duck after joining manager Roberto Martinez from Swansea, where he scored 21 goals in the Coca-Cola Championship.
There is more pressure on the 30-year-old to deliver with Marlon King now in prison.
Scotland is relaxed about his situation and feels the goals will come sooner rather than later.
He told the club's website: "Sometimes when you are a striker it is easy to get frustrated when you are not scoring. But the important thing is to stay focused and do your normal job. I do not see the point of rushing things and shooting on sight.
"I will keep plugging away. I am happy to play a team game and wait for my chance to come. Slowly but surely I am improving because you have got to be at your best at this level where you are up against top defenders every week."
