Wigan Athletic defender Antolin Alcaraz has been cleared of broken ribs and could be available to face Chelsea on the weekend.
The Paraguayan was subbed off during the 2-1 win over West Bromwich Albion last week and the club feared he may be out until the New Year with a break but an X-ray have revealed that there is no serious damage.
