Wigan Athletic have cut loose Jonathan Routledge.

The Daily Mail says Routledge, 21, has joined Hamilton after cancelling his contract by mutual consent.

Accies boss Billy Reid rates the midfielder highly.

Routledge had been on loan at Hamilton where he is joined by MK Dons midfielder Mark Carrington, 23.
