New Wigan Athletic signing Wilson Palacios has made an early impression on his new team-mates Kevin Kilbane and Michael Brown, who have been quick to sing his praises.

"Once he gets settled in he'll be a really good acquisition for us," said Brown.

Kilbane added: "He's really impressed us. He's one for the future, but he's doing well right now."
