Middlesbrough have granted Wigan permission to speak to striker Mido about a loan move to the JJB Stadium. The Egyptian international has become frustrated at his lack of first-team action at the Riverside and confirmed earlier on Thursday it was '95 per cent certain' that he would be moving on during the transfer window.
