Wigan chairman Dave Whelan says Liverpool have not made an approach for Roberto Martinez following the sacking of Kenny Dalglish. After being contacted by Sky Sports, Whelan was quick to confirm that he had not heard anything from Liverpool's owners Fenway Sports Group.
"At this moment in time, there has been no approach from Liverpool or any other club for Roberto Martinez," Whelan confirmed.
