Wigan Athletic defender Antonio Amaya is a target for Real Betis.

Betis have won promotion back into Spain's Primera Division for the coming season.

Amaya spent last season on loan with former club Rayo Vallecano and is now keen on a permanent move back to Spain.

Betis' head coach Pepe Mel is well aware of Amaya's abilities and the club are believed to have tabled a €300,000 offer for his signature.
