Wigan Athletic are bracing for a bid from Tottenham for James McCarthy.
The Daily Mail says Spurs remain keen on Wigan midfielder McCarthy but have yet to make a bid for the young Republic of Ireland international.
The Latics rate McCarthy at £10 million.
