Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez say he won't axe Ali Al Habsi after his howler in defeat at Manchester City.
Martinez backed Al Habsi after his gaffe.
He said: "It is a strange moment. Ali is a very good goalkeeper but these things happen.
"It's a game of errors and in football sometimes you have to live through these cruel moments.
"But I am extremely proud of my players. It's not been going our way but we went face-to-face against a good team and kept them quiet."
