Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez admits losing Arouna Kone to the African Nations Cup will be a blow.

Ivory Coast ace Kone could miss five league and cup matches when he goes to South Africa in mid-January.

Martinez said: "We're going to miss him, but we want to enjoy Arouna's performances until January.

"He is capable of at least doubling his goals total before he goes. He is getting stronger with every game."
