Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez admits Victor Moses is committing himself to Nigeria.
That's despite winning caps for England at U16, U17, U19 and U21 level.
"Maybe they haven't seen how much he has developed and progressed because Victor is not the same player he was 14 months ago.
"Nigeria have shown him how important he is in their plans and now he feels is the right time to represent Nigeria.
"It has been a natural decision from Victor. Nobody has forced him."Martinez said: "Victor played for the Under-21s so he's not unknown to the English set-up.
