Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez has confirmed three off contract players are leaving the DW.

Skipper Mario Melchiot is believed to be mulling over the offer of a new deal, but as many as half a dozen players could potentially be on their way.

"The situations with Paul Scharner, Richard Kingson and Tomasz Kupisz are very clear," Martinez told the Wigan Evening Post.

"We will find out where we are with the other out of contract players over the next few weeks.

"The majority of our contracts run out on June 30, and I am sure it is going to be an ongoing situation between now and then."
