Wigan Athletic boss Steve Bruce admits he's yet to speak with Carlo Nash over his plans to sign permanently with Stoke City.

"I haven't spoken to (Stoke manager) Tony Pulis but I'm sure he'll be concentrating on the two games they have got left," said Bruce.

"If he wants to make it permanent, there could be a deal between the two clubs, but it's a while off yet and I'm sure discussions will take place.

"I understand Carlo wants to play, I don't think he wants to be an understudy, and if that's the case and the deal is right, we will not stand in his way."
