Wigan 1-1 Bolton: Latics and trotters extend unbeaten runs

Wigan Athletic were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Bolton on Saturday afternoon.

The Latics took their undefeated run to four games as the Trotters notched five without defeat after Johan Elmander scored his fifth goal for the season to cancel out Hugo Rodellaga's opener.

The Colombian ace put the home side ahead in the 59th minute when he got on the end of a nice diversion from Franco di Santo after Charles N'Zogbia's brilliant lead-up play but in-form Swede Elmander put things back to square seven minutes later when he slotted past Chris Kirkland.

The point kept Wigan in 15th as Bolton were left to drop to eighth after Sunderland's win over Aston Villa.
