Wheater loving first weeks at Bolton

Bolton Wanderers January signing David Wheater is delighted with his first weeks at the Reebok.

The 24-year-old centre-half made a £2.3million move from Middlesbrough.

"It's been fantastic. You always wonder when you move, even if it's a loan deal, whether you are going to settle in," Wheater told the Bolton website.

"But I've come to Bolton and it's been great because every single one of the lads has been great. The manager and all the staff have been brilliant as well.

"I think it showed in the final few minutes of the game (against Fulham) when the players were throwing bodies in the way of everything that we're doing it for each other."
