Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is set to receive another honour from his native Portugal.

Ronaldo will receive one of his nation's highest honours, the rank of 'Grand Officer of the Order of Prince Henry'.

It will be awarded in recognition of his role in flying the flag for his country around the world.

The title of Grand Officer is the third highest distinction in the Order of Prince Henry, two rungs above Officer, a rank the Real Madrid star was granted ten years ago.
