West Ham United midfielder Freddie Ljungberg risks missing out on Sweden's European Championship campaign.

Ljungberg, 30, faces an anxious wait to discover the extent of the hamstring injury he picked up in the 2-1 defeat at Sunderland on Saturday.

Sweden skipper Ljungberg is undergoing intense treatment but could miss up to six weeks. That would rule him out for the rest of the Premier League season and leave him short of match fitness for the Euros.
