West Ham United are eyeing Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips.

Football Insider says the Hammers see the England international as a potential replacement for Declan Rice.

Phillips has struggled since his summer arrival from Leeds United and was branded "overweight" by City manager Pep Guardiola last week.

West Ham are watching developments and willing to offer Phillips an escape route out of the Etihad.

The 27 year-old midfielder has a deal with City to 2028.
