West Ham United are prepared to sell Winston Reid in January.

The New Zealander will be out of contract at the end of the season and Hammers chiefs would rather sell him than let him go on a free.

The Times says West Ham will offload the defender if he doesn't sign a new deal by mid-January with three clubs monitoring his services.

Both Arsenal and Manchester United have been linked in recent times with both clubs short of options at the back.
