West Ham turn to Stuttgart defender Mavropanos

West Ham United are assessing former Arsenal centre back Konstantinos Mavropanos.

The Hammers are eager to give a new defender to manager David Moyes this summer.

Per The Mail, they have moved on from targeting Manchester United centre half Harry Maguire.

They are now after 25-year-old Greece international Mavropanos, of Stuttgart, as an alternative.

The report adds that West Ham have been offered Odilon Koussonou and Jonathan Tah from Bayer Leverkusen.

While Maguire is still the ideal target for Moyes, he has accepted that deal may not be feasible.
