M'Bolhi, 24, was with Slavia Sofia last season and could be offered a contract at Upton Park after impressing at the Hammers' training camp in Germany.

M'Bolhi was called into the Algeria side for the World Cup game against England and kept his place for their final match against the USA.

A former Marseille youth player, M'Bolhi represented France at Under 16 and Under 17 level before opting to play for the north Africans.
