West Ham United's £45 million bid for Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha is not enough.

The Portuguese is a key target for the London club, who have sold Declan Rice.

However, their fellow Londoners Fulham are not impressed with the offer, per The Guardian.

The bid had been rejected immediately after it was received by the Craven Cottage club.

Palhinha is a key player and Fulham have set a price close to what West Ham received for Rice from Arsenal.

Manager David Moyes may have to look elsewhere if he is to snag a top talent to fill the Rice gap in his squad.
