West Ham United are desperate to keep Dimitri Payet away from rival clubs.
The Hammers are intent on retaining the services of the French playmaker and will offer him improved terms, according to The Sun.
It is understood that West Ham are set to make a fresh proposal to their star mover in the form of a £125,000-a-week contract, just nine months after he penned a new deal.
Manchester United have been showing plenty of interest lately and the Hammers are determined to ward off the Red Devils by tying down the 29-year-old Frenchman to a lucrative new agreement.
However, club chiefs want Payet to vindicate their faith by scoring more goals for Slaven Bilic's side.
Payet has not yet refused out an East London departure but improved wages and a long-term deal could see him commit himself to the cause.
