Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah could be the subject of a serious offer from West Ham United.

The Hammers are said to be planning a late move for Chalobah before the window closes on January 31st.

Chalobah has been one Chelsea have wanted to sell for many months, but no deal has emerged.

Now football.london states that West Ham may be willing to come close to Chelsea's asking price.

The Blues have set a seemingly unrealistic price tag of around £40 million on a player who cannot get a game for them.

Chalobah has not played a single minute in the Premier League this season.
