West Ham United are still struggling to find common ground with Winston Reid over new contract talks.
The London Evening Standard says the Hammers have are prepared to offer the defender up to £60,000 a week to keep him, but Reid is holding out for closer to £80,000.
Sam Allardyce has revealed that negotiations are still ongoing, and hopes that club's top brass can push a deal through.
"It's probably the longest negotiations I've ever seen with a player," he said. "Whether we can get there in the end, I'm not sure. That's in the chairman's hands, not mine."
