West Ham United striker Carlton Cole risks the wrath of Fabio Capello after admitting he smuggled tomato sauce into the England camp!

Cole collected his first cap in February against Spain and has hopes of heading to the World Cup.

But he struggled with boss Fabio Capello's bland menu on his first trip.

So Cole decided to sneak in his own sauce.

He said: "Fabio is a disciplinarian. You need to live by his rules or you will not be involved.

"But I didn't know how strict the diet was.

"I was dying. I needed something on my pasta.

"So on our next trip I took a little sachet.

"I'll stick to the rules from now on - but I am the ketchup guy."
