West Ham United striker Carlton Cole BLEW HIS TOP after being denied a move to West Bromwich Albion on Monday. West Brom were prepared to buy Cole for £500,000.

The Mirror reports Cole is alleged to have stunned watching Albion staff when he allegedly shouted down the phone: "You're ******* wrecking my career!"

Further infuriating Cole was that he'd rejected an approach from QPR earlier in the day as he expected to be signing with the Baggies.

West Ham had no option to bring him back, however, because Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy had decided to block their loan move for Emmanuel Adebayor.
