West Ham United winger Pablo Barrera is set to return to Mexico with a move to Cruz Azul almost complete.
The 25-year old Mexico international joined the Hammers from UNAM Pumas in 2010 but struggled to make an impact at Upton Park and will soon join Cruz with some minor details to be finalised according to president Guillermo Alvarez Macias.
"We only need to fix some details with West Ham about incentives," he said.
During his spell in East London, Barrera spent time on loan with Spanish club Real Zaragoza which reunited him with ex-Mexico boss Javier Aguirre.
