West Ham replace Crystal Palace as favourites for Arsenal striker Nketiah

West Ham United have emerged as favourites to sign Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah.

The 22-year-old forward will be a free agent next month as he continues to put off signing a new deal with Arsenal.

For their part, the Gunners want to keep their academy graduate on a long-term basis.

But with possibly two new strikers arriving this summer, Nketiah is looking elsewhere to further his career.

Crystal Palace tried to sign him in January and remain interested, but the Daily Mail says West Ham have overtaken their London rivals in the pursuit of Nketiah.

Hammers boss David Moyes is desperate to sign a new forward in the summer, having missed out on Darwin Nunez in January.

Nketiah's agents are set for another meeting with Arsenal to find out exactly how much game time he will get next season.
