West Ham United have not given up on securing sign Eintracht Frankfurt's Filip Kostic.
The winger is the subject of a £12.6 million offer from the Hammers at present.
According to Sky Sports, Frankfurt have rejected that offer, and are seeking a sum closer to £16.8 million.
The two clubs may find a compromise in the coming weeks, as Kostic is entering the last year of his contract.
The player's representatives are World Soccer Agency, who also manage recent Hammers signing Gianluca Scamacca.
The founders of the agency are working hard to get their client to the London Stadium club.
