West Ham United's nemesis last night admits he's Hammers mad!
Wellington Phoenix goalkeeper Glen Moss was outstanding against the Premier League outfit, denying West Ham's attack with a series of superb saves in the surprise 2-1 win.
Moss was beaten by Mauro Zarate, but came away delighted with his own performance - and the Nix result.
"I think we need to remember this was always going to be a bigger game for us than it was for them," Moss told tribalfootball.com.
"I'm also a Hammers fan - so I couldn't say a bad word!"
Moss says his work with Nix keeper coach Jonathan Gould has him in top shape. Former Celtic and Bradford City No1 Gould has been on the staff at Wellington since 2012.
"I was satisfied with my own performance," revealed Moss.
"I've never worked as hard these last six weeks with Jonathan Gould to prepare for these games. Gouldy played in the Premier League, so he prepared me well for the challenge."
