Charlie Austin could move from west to east London this summer with reports suggesting the QPR striker is on his way to West Ham United.
The Daily Star reports West Ham have moved ahead of Newcastle United in the race to sign Austin, who scored 18 goals last campaign.
New Magpies boss Steve McLaren recently appeared the frontrunner to sign the 25-year old, who is keen to remain in the Premier League after QPR's relegation to the Championship, but Slaven Bilic is now making his presence felt.
The R's will allow Austin to move clubs, however, are expected to demand around £15million for the England international who is also on the radar of Premier League champions Chelsea.
