West Ham midfielder Tomas Soucek is happy with his form this season.
Soucek has shone for the Hammers in the opening months of the campaign.
“I am very happy with how we have started the season," the midfielder told the Official West Ham Matchday Programme. “We're playing in three competitions already this season and we've got ourselves into a good position in the Premier League. Now, we want to stay there.
“I'm really happy that I can help the team with my goals. I've scored a few already but I think that's down to the position we're playing in midfield now. I can defend and I can go forward and attack. I can do whatever is needed to help the team. If that is with goals, then great! But if it's in another way then I'm more than happy to do that job."
On their clash with Everton on Sunday, he also said: “Different teams look to do different things in the Premier League. Sides like Brighton & Hove Albion, Aston Villa and Newcastle United all play in different ways and with a different shape. But we trust ourselves and our system.
“We've got Everton this weekend and we want to again go for maximum points. If we can beat teams like Everton then we can keep pushing high up the table and hopefully get European football for next season once again."
