West Ham United midfielder Edimilson Fernandes is set to join Mainz in an £8million deal.

The Sunsays the 23-year-old has agreed terms with the Bundesliga club and will complete the switch soon.

The Switzerland international has spent three years with the Hammers.

Fernandes spent the season loan at Fiorentina, where he made 33 appearances.

West Ham are happy to seal the transfer in order to boost their own summer kitty.
