West Ham United face a dilemma over England World Cup reject Robert Green.

The Sunday Express says the Hammers announced before the World Cup finals that Green would not be offered another deal, even though he will be out of contract next summer.

It looked like an obvious ploy on the club's part to cash in by drumming up interest in a player who started the tournament as England's number one.

Now Green's international career appears to be over and his transfer value has plunged.
