Premier League side West Ham are not interested in re-signing Jesse Lingard this month.
Lingard is without a club after he left Nottingham Forest as a free agent at the end of last season.
The ex-Manchester United winger had trials at various clubs, and even went to Saudi Arabia for a few weeks, but could not find a long-term deal.
PerThe Standard, West Ham do not believe Lingard can ease their injury crisis.
The club do want to sign players, but they are focusing on longer term targets.
Lingard had a previous loan spell with West Ham in 2019/2020 that was a success.
