West Ham lose Gabbidon to hamstring injury

West Ham United have lost defender Danny Gabbidon for three weeks with a hamstring injury.

The Wales international limped off after 19 minutes of the Premier League clash against their London rivals Chelsea yesterday.

Gabbidon underwent a scan today and the Upton Park club are still awaiting results from those tests.

But the east London club expect the 30-year-old to miss the rest of the year, which includes vital clashes against Portsmouth and Tottenham as well as the FA Cup third round tie against Arsenal on January 3.
