West Ham leave Ogbonna to Southampton, Everton

West Ham United have pulled out of the running for Juventus defender Angelo Ogbonna.

Sky Italia says the Hammers, Southampton and Everton have all been in contact with Juve for the centre-half since the end of last season.

However, West Ham have this week pulled out of the running as they focus on other targets.

Southampton boss Ronald Koeman sees Ogbonna as an alternative to Toby Alderweireld, while Everton are in the market for a new centre-half after the departures of Sylvain Distin and Antolin Alcaraz.

Juve are prepared to sell this summer as they welcome Daniele Rugani from Empoli.
